Blog Spam
I f'ing hate it! I'm sure that within minutes of clicking "Pulblish Post", a comment will be left on this post, hawking some useless product. Blogger (Google) needs to do something to prevent this.
Word verification might help. Blogger recently added that feature . I haven't started using it, but the problem hasn't yet reached that level for me. Obviously this will only help if it's machine generated. If someone is just copying into the comment from the clipboard, you're on your own.

It also inconveniences your legitimate readers.
I always delete the comment spam as soon as I see it, so none of my readers will inadvertently visit their sites.
I had to disable anonymous posting on my blog. :-(
